Visit the Palace and Park!

parco mandria

The Reggia di Venaria and the nearby Mandria Park can both be visited on just one ticket, providing an extensive programme of shared itineraries and activities.  This will symbolically reconnect the two places to create a single environmental, cultural and tourism entirety that has no equal in Europe.

In addition to the possibility of touring the Reggia di Venaria and the Gardens + Castle at La Mandria, as of 3 November an electric shuttle bus connects the two residences.

With over 6,500 hectares, Mandria Park is a unique and exceptional space, one of Europe’s leading areas for environmental protection where there is preserved the most significant example of lowland forest.

Many species of wild and domesticated animals live within the Park, such as deer, foxes, wild boars and horses, and it also contains a priceless architectural heritage in the form of the Castle of Mandria, the Hunting Lodge of King Vittorio Emanuele II and the Bella Rosina given World Heritage status by UNESCO, as well as about twenty historic farmhouses, the remains of a medieval stronghold, two hunting lodges (the Bizzarria and the Villa dei Laghi) and the Cascina Rubbianetta, now home to the International Horse Centre.
